Aivly Country Store crowned best in Britain

Aivly Country Store, in Ringwood, on the Hampshire/Dorset border has scooped the most prestigious national award for equestrian retailers.

With over 2000 tack shops initially nominated by their customers, and referenced by suppliers, Aivly’s customer service, expertise and facilities were then secretly assessed by the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA).

Judged to be the best in the business, Aivly was announced as the SEIB (Large) Retailer of the Year Award during the BETA Gala Dinner at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, on Sunday, 17 February.
I’m in shock”, says Sheila Lister of Aivly Country Store, adding, “Aivly always endeavours to offer a personal yet professional service – and were thrilled to have been nominated for the fourth time this year.

To win has really inspired us and we’re looking at further ways to improve - we’ve got a standard to set - and would like to thank everybody who voted for us and our staff for helping Aivly achieve this award.”

Founded in 2002, Aivly has grown to become an established country store including agricultural and pet feed, bedding and supplies, country gifts and clothing, and equestrian equipment specialists.

And while Aivly has a thriving website, it is visiting the well-presented store and feed barn that more closely resembles Selfridges than a Country Store that gives shoppers confidence - along with the excellent customer care.

BETA encourages the highest standards in equestrian retailing, enabling horse owners and riders to shop with confidence and Aivly should be congratulated for being voted the best in Britain”, said BETA executive director Claire Williams.
